Prophecy Concerning Presidential
Election 2000
October 29st thru November 4th
During
this week before the election, the Lord has brought back to my remembrance
the prophecy given to me shortly after the revelation that President Clinton
was having an affair with a young intern serving at the White House. (See
the prophecy dated 9-20-1998 “America in the Valley of Decision”)
I remember getting a strong prompting by the Holy Spirit to prophesy during
our Sunday service and was surprised and perplexed by the content as well
as and by the passion that came with it. The Lord conveyed that He was
exposing this sin because it was a picture of America’s reality
with him. Two lines of that prophecy particularly stands out, “The
Lord said, “I am in this. I am raising the skirts of America and
revealing her lewdness and I will to parade her nakedness in front of
all the nations....and I have brought America into the valley of decision.”
At the time God spoke these words in 1998, I did not know what was really meant; but now the Lord is revealing a greater depth of understanding to this prophecy as it pierces my heart once again. I could not have imagined that the President of the United States would take advantage of a young intern and commit adultery in the White House during official business hours right in the oval office while Yasser Arafat was waiting! More unimaginable is that in the face of so much incriminating evidence the President would lie on television to the whole nation without having shame nor the integrity to resign. I couldn’t have imagined that the intimate details of the President’s sexual sins would become public and published on the internet for all of the world to see. I couldn’t have imagined that this young intern would have no shame and become admired by others. I could not have imagined how openly good was called evil and evil was called good and those who stood for good would be accused of malicious wrong doing. I could not have imagined that the US Senate would make a mockery of justice by not allowing all of the evidence to be fully used in the President’s impeachment but instead found him not guilty of braking the law when everyone knew he was guilty! I couldn’t have imagined that Americans would continue to support the President even after he had broken the law. I could not have imagined Americans would not be outraged by our Senate showing such a blatant disrespect for America’s laws and standard of truth and morality that has always been expected from our leaders. I couldn’t have imagined that Americans would demonstrate so poignantly that they too had no shame.
America began in covenant with God and is known as His country. We are know for our proclamation “In God we trust”. Adultery is a sin of breaking a sacred covenant. It is no accident that President Clinton committed adultery right in the oval office. The Lord was speaking to us, to America, not just the president. In our arrogance as a nation against God we valued keeping the president in power giving the appearance that morality and our laws are not really important. This allowed the young to be ravished and led them into gross darkness by our apparent “approval” of the President’s sin. We also set an example for the nations to follow into this darkness or validated their present darkness. America’s infidelity to her covenant with the Lord God by her shameless abandonment of God’s ways has this nation in peril of losing the His favor. God has already allowed the very foundations of America’s laws and institutions to be challenged by those who cherish their own agenda and quest for power over the laws and godly values that have guided America since our forefather’s sacred covenant with God.
I am seeing many correlations between this prophecy and these events. The Lord is showing me His heart. He could have chosen to cover America’s sin but He chose to utterly reveal it because He wants to talk to America and get her attention. Only the Lord puts rulers in place. He put President Clinton in office. He gives us foolish princes when a nation continually sins against Him. It is clear to me the Lord hardened President Clinton’s heart to reveal our heart as a nation. I heard His heart say, “I called America to be a standard of light to the world and a hope to many nations. In its beginning I covenanted with this nation and I wrote My name upon it but America forsook Me as a wife who forsakes her husband. She has brought her lovers into the “marriage bed” without shame or remorse. But I have been calling to her to return to Me. I have revealed to her what she has done and where our relationship really is, in hopes that she would return to me.”
Yet I see that God has given this nation the opportunity to make a choice. I see that He has shocked many Americans and awakened them to the peril we are really in. Those who care about having a government founded upon justice and based on God’s truth have heard a call. Many from diverse groups have come together in one purpose to see America return to true justice and integrity. I now know that the “valley of decision” is this presidential election, at least in whole or in part. For this reason, the Lord has made integrity a central issue in this election even when affluent Americans have said in their hearts, “Why should we care who is elected to office? It really doesn’t make a difference. We have money in our pockets.” In this election Americans can make a clear choice for a standard of justice and integrity.
November 5th
The Lord is reminding
me that He is using the recent governmental corruption to make integrity
and morality an issue in the upcoming presidential election. I also see
that the election is in whole or in part the “the valley of decision”
and all of us need to cast a vote. I will give this prophecy of several
years ago again to the church to remind us of what God has said and how
it is relevant today.
November 7th thru 8th
On this day of the election I see by the Spirit the face of George Bush
and know the Lord has chosen this man to be president.
November 11th
Even though Governor Bush was declared the
winner of the presidential election, I am surprised by all the commotion,
accusations and law suits that are causing uncertainty over the winner
of the election. My emotions can hardly take another day but the Lord
is now giving me His perspective.
I see a vision of the oceans in a storm. There are great waves and foam and turmoil. This Lord is sitting in the heavens on his throne laughing. I see Him putting an axe to the root of the deception of relative truth. He is also putting forth His hand and beckoning the true and hidden intentions of the hearts of men to come out into the open and to be revealed.
The import of this vision to me is that no matter what
plans and actions men take, the Lord is on His throne and rules and no
mere man and his vain contrivances can change His choice. He is using
the great prize of the office of president to tempt the “wise men
of this age” to come into the light where their intentions and “wisdom”can
be seen for what it is. The storm is the battle to win the election at
any cost. In the end the Lord is going to show up in a big way and shut
the wagging tongues of many mouths that have spoken evil. He will defend
the election of Governor Bush in a decisive way that will bring America
back to the reality of absolute truth.
The Lord says, “I have heard the prayers of America. My people have
repented before Me. They have confessed their sin of breaking their covenant
with Me made by their forefathers when they first came to America. They
have called a solemn assembly on the capital steps and publically confessed
the sins of America and repented and asked for forgiveness and mercy for
America and I have heard the prayers. I am answering. America’s
call is to be a light to the world and a hope to many nations and I she
will continue in it. I will restore her back to her roots and return her
back to truth. Many who have sat in deception and darkness in America
will see the truth and come into the light. I am making America to desire
truth.”
The Lord reveals to me that in two years from this election, after many government leaders demonstrate truth and integrity in part by saying what they mean and meaning what they say, many Americans will think and say, “I like this!” Many who have sat in the deception of evil will rally around a government of integrity and truth. Relative truth will loose its appeal.
November 14th
When I gave these revelations
to the elders in our church, they rejoiced. I will also share this word
with many (even the Icelanders on our trip to Iceland), for the sake of
the glory of the Lord and the peace and comfort His word brings. When
this word comes to pass and the election is over and the turmoil has stopped
and Governor Bush is declared the President elect, it will confirm the
Lord has truly spoken and that we can also trust the declaration of the
Lord’s intentions toward us; He is restoring America, not judging
her!
December 12th
The Supreme Court of
the United States ruled today in favor of Governor Bush by overturning
the Florida Supreme Court’s rulings that changed election laws after
election day in violation of Florida law. This has put a total stop to
the confusion caused by the flurry of questionable actions, accusations,
and judicial rulings over the past 35 days and brought the reality of
absolute law in perspective.
Observations: W ho could have ever guessed that this
election would come before the Supreme Court of the United State two times!
What an ending this is! Who would have thought this election process would
cause such bazar events and would keep the election in question? The Lord
has truly revealed our hearts as Americans. He has prolonged this election
to cause us to become sick of ourselves and become open to truth. Even
the media wants it to be over! What impresses me the most is that the
issues of this election have wound up in the Supreme Court of the United
States! The Supreme Court’s decision seems to me to be the decisive
way for the Lord to mandate His president and shut the wagging tongues
of many who have been speaking and doing evil. The Lord, therefore, has
made His point, that relative thinking is subject to absolute law. He
has made the law preeminent and not subject to casual, relative interpretation
or application. The disrespect and disregard for justice during this election
and during the Clinton presidency has been judged by God through the highest
court in our land. This ending is a reflection of God’s intent to
return America to absolute truth and restore her!
December 13th
Vice
President Al Gore conceded the election today in a gracious and godly
way giving support for unifying this country. Hallelujah!
