Greetings once again from Congo,
In our last update we told you about all the TV coverage and the stir it is creating. Well it is continuing. We are now being contacted by men from the government who want to meet with us, so we will wait and see how it plays out. We will meet them tonight at Filleyfs house, where we stayed the last time we were here. Yesterday afternoon we were invited to one of the government buildings to tape a gmagazineh type TV program which was aired last night at 9:30PM as part of the evening news. This station is the government owned TV station and is viewed, at that time of the evening, by 18 million people throughout Congo. Everyone wants to hear the prophecy of encouragement, which God gave Diane for Congo in March of 2002. Samuel says it is a miracle. The government does not allow Christian programs on this station unless they pay a lot of money for the TV time. Last night millions of Congolese heard Godfs promises declared throughout this country.
Last Sunday we spoke at a large church (about 2,400) here in Kinshasa. The main meeting hall only holds about 1400 so they meet in two halls, across the street from each other, and connect the two with closed circuit TV. Next Sunday we are scheduled to speak twice, once to a very large church, which broadcasts its services locally on four TV stations. That service begins at 7:00 AM, 2:00 AM your time. Later, in the afternoon, we are to address a very large crowd (perhaps 20,000) in an open air stadium. In all of these meetings we are to present the prophecy and encourage the people. We are blessed beyond words. The promises of God to Congo are finding a home in the hearts of thousands, perhaps millions, of people. These people are accustomed to hearing prophecy from ego driven men who want to make a name for themselves and get money. These prophecies most often are threats of doom and vengeance from an angry god. Now that they are hearing the real thing, that which is false is being exposed. We have heard from several people that the false prophets are hiding and will not now show their faces.
We are teaching four times a week at the Africa House of Prayer. As we reported in the last news update, these meetings are to a packed house of pastors who come together to pray for their nation. They are sponsoring a five day conference starting the 21st of June to pray for the nation. They expect about 4000 people from all over the country to be on hand to pray and fast. The teachings are going wonderfully. The anointing is so strong there that it is really easy present the messages. Diane is teaching on prophecy, how to steward it, and how to identify false prophecy. Nick is teaching on doctrinal issues such as the security of the believer and salvation. The scales are falling off the eyes of many of these pastors who have taught their flocks to constantly fear going to Hell because they donft do everything just right. Congo is receiving the true Jesus and the love of the Father.
