To all our supporters and friends:

Dear Friends,

Dear friends,

Greetings and many blessings from the Congo. Everywhere we go we are received with thanksgiving to God. In our last update we told you about the TV program. Apparently it made quite a stir in occult community here. We were told that a group here that has been trying to pass themselves off as the single source of Godfs word to these people bought some TV time and proceeded to promote themselves. On national TV they announced that all prophecy over the Congo should be routed through them (so they can take credit for it). Shortly after that we were invited back to the TV station for another program where we will teach on false prophecy. This is to take place Thursday evening about 9:00 PM, 4:00 PM your time. Please pray that God will expose these false prophets to all the nation and they will be so discredited that they are put out of business.

Yesterday we met with the pastor of a large church here in Kinshasa. This church has a bible college with live-in students and faculty housing as well. The pastor told him he had been told by one of his prophetic people that he would be visited by white people who will confirm the things they have been faithfully praying for since 1994. Their main vision is for God to really visit Congo. They meet and pray for the nation on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of each week. The reason for these days is that the satanists have their meetings on Thursday. These dear brothers and sisters have been faithfully doing this since 1994. We will be speaking to their church this Sunday beginning at 7:00 AM our time, 2:00 AM your time. They have several services so we donft know how many times we will have to speak. Before we told the pastor the name of our ministry he told us of a vision the Lord had given them back in the late 90fs. God had revealed them as a large tree providing shade and shelter to many. He was very pleased to receive one of our business cards and to learn that we are called Oak Tree Ministries.

We are teaching at the Africa House of Prayer as we did in 2002. Those pastors and leaders who meet there have a wonderful spirit. The anointing is strong and the Love of God is evident every time we meet. Each time we meet the room is packed with about 200 people in a room, which should hold 150. In between all these meetings we are speaking at local churches.

As we stated in the last update we are staying with Pastor Samuel. He has added air conditioning to our bedroom and today he is installing it in the living room. This expense is all for our benefit because the heat is oppressive. We have been having many conversations with him and have come to know his heart. He is a really sweet brother who is laying his life down for the Kingdom of God. HE AND HIS WIFE, HELEN, WILL LIKELY BE COMING TO VISIT US IN OCTOBER, so get ready.

Thatfs all the news for now.

Blessings

Nick & Diane
